Instructions
You don't need a portable MP3 player (like an iPod) to take advantage of this. You can listen right at your PC, Mac, or Linux desktop using a software program that accepts podcast feeds. At the bottom of this page are links to two of the most common programs used for this.
Here's how it works
1] Once you have a podcast software installed you need to find the option for subscribing to a podcast (in iTunes it is under the "Advanced" menu).
2] Then copy the link above. This can be done by right clicking [control click if your mouse has one button] on the link and select "Copy Shortcut" or "Copy Link" or "Copy Link Location" depending on your browser.
3] Paste the link into the podcast software and click save or OK. Each software gives options on setting automatic checks or manual check.
If you have an mp3 player, you can also copy the files to your player for listening anywhere. If you have problems or need help consult your applications help documentation.
Podcast Software/Applications
- iTunes: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ (available for Windows/Mac)
- iPodder: http://ipodder.sourceforge.net (available for Windows/Mac/Linux) requires a media player software to play the podcast (Windows Media, WinAmp, Real Media Player, iTunes or QuickTime).
